Announcing two all-new Tahoe Trail Running Series – Endurance Performance Workshops

Presented by Silver Sage Sports Performance Center in partnership with the Big Blue Adventure (producers of the Tahoe Trail Running Series), this series of informational workshops focus specifically on helping Tahoe Trail Running Series participants optimize their preparation with specific focus on effective nutrition and fueling strategy and science-based gait analyis. The workshops are open to all who have an interest in improving endurance performance.

“Diets of the Day / Demystify the Diet”

Workshop #2 –

“Lower extremity biomechanics”

Location: Eclipse Running, Reno

Time: 6-7pm

Topic: Lower extremity biomechanics – research based gait techniques. Workshop will discuss ground reaction forces, muscle activation techniques and proper movement strategies. These key components afford proper joint position to maximize efficiency; effective unloading of joint stress with increased power and speed; and determination of individual running style.
